What's this page all about? It's my chance to profess my love to the most beautiful, wonderful woman in the world - my wife. How did I get so lucky to marry this babe who at 40+ looks even more beautiful than the day I married her? I don't honestly know, but I do know that I have been so blessed.

Janet is a woman of many talents. She is a ventriloquist, a gifted teacher, a creative entrepreneur, a fantastic mother, an outstanding zookeeper, a loving wife, a talented writer, an expert in the field of raising parrots, and my best friend. In addition to her talents, she possesses some wonderful character traits like being extremely organized, hard working, forgiving, honest, dependable, patient, uncompromising, devoted, compassionate, loving, caring, has a servant's heart and a desire to share what she has with whoever needs it.

Janet has overcome some big odds in her life - starting with a tough childhood, but she survived. Then in 1985 she actually died for a few seconds (flatlined and headed down the tunnel with a light at the end) when giving birth to our first son - but she survived. I think God knew that I could not have made it without her, plus he had some wonderful plans for the rest of her life - like using her to teach kids about Christ and counseling girls on their problems and making me into the man I am today.

It is because of Janet that I am the man I am today. Without her influence in my life, I'm sure I'd be in jail today or dead! I was headed down a slippery slope in my life and she pulled me back up and set me straight. I credit her with all my successes in my career. She has given me the confidence to try things I thought impossible and encouraged me when I felt like I couldn't do it. She also has the incredible patience to put up will all my crazy schemes to "make us a million" (hey - it'll happen!).

I met Janet when I came to work at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California. She was my boss. I thought she was hot the first time I saw her. She had an owl on her arm and long flowing blond hair on her head - my kind of woman. I finally gathered up the courage to ask her out a couple of weeks later. There was a point near the end of our first date - as we were driving on I-5 towards Valencia (just after leaving the San Fernando Valley) that we were talking about our dreams for the future and we BOTH KNEW RIGHT THEN that we were going to marry each other. She was the woman of my dreams. A beautiful woman that also loved birds as much as I did. What could be better! Of course we didn't actually say it to each other on our first date but it was love at first date :-) I think I hinted around about it by saying that someday I wanted to take my wife to Europe, and then casually asked her if she ever had a desire to go to Europe. Smooth huh? Funny thing - it took 25 years to happen but we finally made it to Paris in December 2005!!

I simply can not imagine life without her. She is such a wonderful person. Life would be meaningless if I didn't have her to share it with. She is the reason I go to work everyday and the reason I rush home after work. I love spending time with her and look forward to retiring with her and spending all day together.
